As you would be aware Typhoon Ondoy has swept through the Philippines devastating the lives of millions of Filipinos particularly around the Luzon region. The storm has left hundreds of thousands of people without shelter, food, medicine and clean water - literally only left with the clothes on their back.

As relief efforts have earnestly begun, Gawad Kalinga has answered the call  - gathering volunteers to distribute food, clean water and clothes to assist victims. Despite the tragedy and the many missing people there have been many amazing stories that have conveyed the resilience and spirit of the Filipino people as they slowly go about rebuilding their lives.
Gawad Kalinga community development has deployed volunteers around the troubled areas who are working around the clock. Many of us wish we could be there to assist in the clean up efforts. What can we do to help?

AUSTRALIA – Operation Typhoon Relief

We are in the process of collecting donations - any amount will help!.  Donations can be made either by Electronic Funds Transfer, Credit Card , or Cash/Cheques.  Please fill in the attached form and mail to GK ANCOP Australia, GPO Box 2574, Canberra ACT 2601. All donations are tax deductible.  Receipt will follow once the form and donation is received.
